Senator Pat Roberts is planning to seek re-election in 2014 and is already raising money for his campaign.

The "Hutchinson News" reports the 73-year-old Kansas Republican reported more than $82,000 in cash on hand at the end of September. Among his recent donors was the political action committee of fellow Kansas Senator Sam Brownback, which gave $5,000.
