This week in a federal courtroom in a 54-year-old man from San Diego, California was sentenced to nearly four years in prison. Leon Livingston pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess and distribute more than 100-kilograms of marijuana.
Postal authorities who inspected a parcel that smelled like marijuana, found instead about $30,000 in cash inside. That find started a probe that convicted six people on drug trafficking charges.

Three other defendants have already been sentenced in the investigation, while two more await sentencing in December.
