An Albert Pujols' rookie baseball card, much like this one, was ordered online but never made it to its destination

A missing baseball card has a Saline County man feeling struck out.

According to Salina County Sheriff, Glen Kochanowski, a 24-year old baseball card collector spent over $2,400 online to buy St. Louis Cardinals star, Albert Pujols' rookie baseball card.

The man ordered the collector's edition card through e-Bay and Pay Pal, but when the package reached his home he discovered the U.S. Postal piece had been cut open and the card had been removed. Total loss is $2,495.
