A Department of Defense news release says 35-year-old Ryan Zorn of Upton, Wyoming died Monday in Tal Afar, Iraq. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
Zorn was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 34th Armor Regiment, 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division at Fort Riley.
