"Fish and Fuzz" (Nate Lennox and Brad Hoppock) have been providing a double scoop of harmony on their original songs around Salina since 1996.

Friday morning the duo hit the KSAL studios again with another tasty 3-song set that included the debut of a Morning News Theme Song. ...."wake up don't hit the snooze - it's time for morning news with Rich and Jeff."

KSAL Morning News host, Rich Alexander was thrilled with the new tune and told the two it had been a long time coming. "For thirty years I've been in this business - and the theme song with my name in it was just never in the budget," he said. "Thank you gentlemen."

The two singer/songwriters met back in October of 1996, while they were members of other bands slated to play at a talent show in Gypsum. Hoppock tells KSAL News they have been writing songs together ever since. "We kind of told the others to hit the road," he said with a smile. Lennox says performing live at small venues is still a high note for both, "Front porch - living rooms, we love the aspect of that live sound."

Both Hoppock and Lennox work at Acoustic Sounds in Salina. The company stores and sells vinyl records and works with analogue productions. To book the duo or to find out more on Fish and Fuzz go to www.Face Book.com

Multiple area musicians, groups, and bands are right now being booked to sit in the studio as the Friday morning "KSAL House Band." If you know of anyone interested you can contact Jeff Garretson by calling him at 785-823-1111 or by e-mailing him at jeff.garretson@morris.com.
