Both men claimed they had purchased the stove from a third party for $150.

Two men are arrested for trying to take a wood burning stove they claimed to have purchased.

Saline County Sheriff's Officers were sent to 7277 W. Stimmel Road on Sunday afternoon after the owner of an unoccupied property found two men trying to remove an antique stove from the house. The owner blocked the driveway and called the Sheriff.

Richard Feenstra, 47 of 652 S. 9th and Lonnie Feenstra, 27 of Sylvan Grove were arrested on burglary charges. Both men claimed they had purchased the stove from a third party for $150.

Total loss and damage to the stove and interior of the home is listed by the owner at $4,000.
