The Salina League of Women Voters, in partnership with Kansas Wesleyan University, will present a forum on judicial diversity in Kansas Thursday night.

The forum panel will include Kansas Supreme Court Justice Marla Luckert, the second woman ever to serve on Kansas' highest court. Also participating will be Kansas Court of Appeals Judge Henry Green, the only Black on Kansas' second highest court. And Riley County District Magistrate Judge Sheila Hochhauser, who is Jewish, will appear.

The forum is sponsored in part through a grant to the Salina League of Women Voters from the Brennan Foundation. The grant enables the Salina League of Women Voters to host a series of events that address judicial diversity.

The forum is scheduled for 7:00 in room 201 at Peters Science Hall. It is free and open to the public.
