Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure hosts Pumpkin PaZoola this Saturday at the Zoo.
Presented by Children's Mercy Family Health Partners and Kansas Health Wave, Pumpkin PaZoola is a pumpkin-themed festival for all ages to celebrate the fall season with fun activities for the whole family while enjoying all the animals at Rolling Hills Zoo.
All kids age twelve and under will get free Zoo admission with a paid adult. Some of the exciting free activities lined up for kids at the event include picking a free pumpkin from the pumpkin patch (while supplies last), horse-drawn wagon rides, live music and DJ entertainment by Nashville recording artist Dusty Workman, a giant inflatable obstacle course and a bounce house just for toddlers. Pumpkin-themed games will be going on all day with prizes for participants. In addition to a full menu available at the Overlook Restaurant, Zoo Teens will be making caramel apples and apple sundaes, and other food venders will be located throughout the Zoo. The activities begin at 9:00 am and will continue until 4 pm. Pumpkin PaZoola is also sponsored by Saint Francis Community Services, Salina Media Group, WIBW-TV, and KAKE.
Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure, a non-profit organization, features a world-class zoo, a state-of-the-art wildlife museum, full service catering, a conference center, and unique educational and volunteer opportunities and programs.
