Police are investigating after an ATV is stolen.

The owner of a 2008 Yamaha 4-wheeler contacted SPD after discovering the vehicle was not in the storage shed where it was kept in the backyard at 2058 Leland Way.

Sometime between Thursday at 7:30pm and Friday morning at 8am someone entered the yard and took the 4-wheeler.

Police say the east side of the shed was open with no door.

The 350 CC Yamaha is valued at $3,050.

Houses on Leland are close to each other and people are always around and about so I find it hard to see how someone could move something like this out of a shed without no one hearing or seeing anything.

It's part of T-bones neighborhood "Gang Initiation". They are upgrading from big wheels and bicycles to four wheelers to do their toy gun drive by shootings...

Just another insurance claim. They probably sold it on craigslist and figured they could make more money. I to cannot see how something this big can be stolen without no one seeing or hearing anything especially in that neighborhood.
