Five Of Salina's Most Wanted Caught

Five people on the June list of Salina'a Most Wanted are caught.
Those on the list this month are wanted for crimes that include felony drug crimes, felony fleeing and eluding, felony theft, forgery, identity theft, and failing to register as an offender.
Since the program began back in July of 2000, thanks to tips from the public, 1,833 criminals have been caught, and 243 Crime Stoppers rewards have been given out.
Check back often, because as criminals are caught the list is updated.
The most wanted program is made possible through the cooperation of the Salina Police Department, the Saline County Sheriff's Office, the Salina Journal and the Salina Media Group.

1833 and only 243 paid something not the $1000 as advertised. Of course it does say up to $1000 so someone could be paid $1. If this is not cause for the chief to retire or be fired then the whole bunch of them down there at city hall should lose their jobs. Our police department evidently cannot even catch those on their most wanted list who just hang around Salina even after their mug shots appear. Andy of Mayberry could do better.

you got that right one department could not catch the other department let alone criminals.
