The Salina Hawks Junior American Legion Baseball team swept visiting McPherson, 15-3 and 10-2. Both games ended early due to the run-rule. The Hawks used an 11-run third to seal game one, while a three-run fifth ended game two. The Hawks are 13-2 and host Wamego on Friday.

The Salina Falcons Senior American Legion Baseball team opens play in the Battle of Omaha tournament this morning at 10am against Castle Rock, Colorado. The game was pushed back two hours due to rain in Omaha last night.
