The season is likely over for Kansas City Royals pitcher Felipe Paulino. The right-hander has been diagnosed with a torn ligament in his right elbow and is expected to need Tommy John surgery. Paulino was injured Wednesday while on a minor league rehab assignment for a strained groin muscle suffered earlier this month. He would join Joakim Soria, Blake Wood and Danny Duffy as Royals pitchers to undergo ligament replacement surgery this year.
