Falcons, Hawks Earn Sweeps

The Salina Falcons Senior American Legion Baseball team sweeps Junction City 9-7 and 18-5. Taylor Bradley had five hits in the doubleheader, including three doubles and six RBI in game two.

The Falcons are now 17-4 and face Great Bend tomorrow in their Grand Slam opener.

The Salina Hawks Junior American Legion Baseball team takes two from Clearwater 14-0 and 11-3. Zach Nachbar and Garrett Mortimer combined on a four-inning no-hitter in game one.

The Hawks are 17-2 and face Rock Creek to open the Grand Slam tomorrow.
