Falcons Sweep Emporia, Eagles Defeat McPherson

The Salina Falcons Senior American Legion Baseball team continued their hot run, sweeping a pair of games from Emporia, winning 12-0 and 17-0 in four innings each. Robert James picked up the win in game one, while Daniel O'Brien earned the victory in game two. The Falcons are now 27-8 and host Winfield on Saturday.

The Salina Eagles Junior American Legion Baseball team defeated McPherson 20-10. Cody Walters picked up the win on the hill as the Eagles moved to 20-10. The Eagles play at Manhattan this evening, and start zone tournament play on Saturday at Marysville.

The Salina Hawks Junior American Legion Baseball team is at Newton this evening.
