Salina Legion Baseball Action Continues

The Eagles will open up their zone tournament on Sunday in Marysville when they take on Rock Creek at 5:30 pm.

The Salina Hawks came away with a sweep last night on the road at Newton in run rule fashion. Salina took game one 24 to 3 and then finished the sweep with a 9 to 0 win in the nightcap. The Hawks will finish their regular season tomorrow when they take on Clearwater at Dean Evans Stadium in a doubleheader beginning at 2 o'clock.

And the Salina Eagles fell to Manhattan Manko 10 to 9 in extra innings last night on the road. The Eagles finished the regular season with a record of 20 and 11. Salina will open up their zone tournament on Sunday in Marysville when they take on Rock Creek at 5:30 pm.
