The money was placed in the make-up bag for safe keeping
Cash is stolen from a make-up bag.
Christine D. Pattulo, 34 of 637 S Third, had recieved $2300, and put it inside her make-up bag for safe-keeping, says the Salina Police Department.
Pattulo had been lying on the couch until 9:35 p.m. on Thursday, July 12. She then got up to get ready for work. Before leaving for work, she removed the bag from underneath the couch where she had moved it while there were people over.
When she arrived at work, she opened the make-up bag to find the money missing.

These stories get better and better. If what is printed here is correct she was laying on the couch. I also question where the money came from. She could have put it in her jeans pocket if she was concerned about someone stealing it. I wonder what part drugs played in all of this.

Yep, wonder if they did any checking to see where the $2,300 was "received" from?! I know many people keep some cash at their homes in case of an emergency, this is a little bit excessive though. I suppose she could have sold a car or something. It was obviously someone that knew her, how would anyone else of known where to look!! Pick your friends carefully people!!!
