The National Agricultural Statistics Service said Friday that the number of cattle and calves in the United States as of July 1 totaled 97.8 million head. That's 2 percent fewer cattle than a year ago.
It's also the lowest number since the agency began documenting July cattle numbers in 1973. The agency now estimates the size of the herd each January and July.
The calf crop is down 2 percent from a year ago with 34.5 million calves expected to be born this year.
Agriculture economics associate professor Glynn Tonser of Kansas State University says this reflects a multi-year trend of falling cow numbers that was sped up by the Southern Plains drought last year.

i don't know about anyone else but with the toll this drought is taking on the animaols and crops and people i wouldn't be surprised if dec 12th is the end. the Lord has probably just about had enough of the way our world is. theres just too much stupidity and selfishness and corruption. now is the time to get right with the Lord.

I agree with T-Bone-my grandma says that it said in the Bible the world was going to end in a fire---this is a close to a fire as we're going to get. I'd like to think that the Lord hasn't had enough---he is a forgiving God. We all do need to pray-this is hard on all of us - the good are suffering with the bad---I've been praying for weeks - God has a plan - not sure - I'm having a hard time seeing it , - but we must bond together in prayer.

Ours government has sites around the country where the elite will be able to go to. They would not be building these sites if they were not aware of something occurring in the next few years.
