For years the school board of education has ignored the many of the school problems in our community and those serving have been less than desirable. Now they want proof of address of the kids. Their concern should be getting the kids into school and once there giving them an education. Salina has to many positions in the systems paying high wages but none goes to the teaching of our children. Last year they allowed cell phone usage for what reason? Definately cell phones do not add to one being educated. It seems the school system here always has their hands out for more money constantly raising our taxes and providing less and less education to our children.
