Motorcycle hits deer, slides into ditch
A Monday night crash in rural Ellsworth County involving a motorcycle and a deer sends two people from Salina to the hospital.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 26-year-old Christopher Stromski of Salina was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle south on K-111 Highway. The motorcycle struck a deer, and slid into a ditch.
Stromski and a passenger, 25-year-old Sarah Stromski, were thrown from the motorcycle. Both were hurt, and were transported to the hospital in Salina.
The crash happened at around 7:30 Monday night, on K-111 Highway, about 6 miles north of Kanopolis in Ellsworth County.

Right on t-bone! Is the deer ok? Was an ambulance summoned for the deer? Who was at fault? I bet the motorcycle ran off the road deliberately just to hit the deer, then drub the deer to the raod to make it look like it was at fault.... Or wait.... I GOT IT!!! The deer was under the influence of bath salts.... There you go Sheriff Im gonnagetu, a fellow Salinan solved a crime for you...
