As a bike rider...I would like to say that I get aggravated by the constant biased reporting on motorcycle accidents. If you're going to report that the person was not wearing a helmet and was injured...then you should report whether or not the person suffered head or other injuries. I haved personnaly crashed and sustained injuries...I was not wearing a helmet and I did not have head injuries. Your reporting leads readers to believe that the persons injuries were head related since he wasn't wearing a helmet...this may or may not be the case. This is exactly where inaccurate statistics come from (or at least a source). You also make it clear that he was riding a HD. I hope in the future you always include the make of motorcycle when you post reports...this includes ALL makes, not just HD's. Thanks.

Randy57 you are 100% correct. They report the helmets because they are after redoing the helmet law in kansas and use the highway patrol for their stats. They are doing the same with the seat belt law and I feel everyone should decide for themselves whether they want to use a helmet or seatbelt and government needs to stay the hell out of it and our lives.
