Kmetz stopped into the KSAL Morning News with buzz on 2 watch parties
Some Salina heroes will get some TV time Wednesday night.
A new reality show from singer, Trace Adkins and the Great American Country Network is kicking off their season with an episode that features Steve Kmetz, Executive Director of the Salina Rescue Mission, Amy Paden with Hearts of America and Heidi Feyerherm of the Love, Chloe Foundation.
Kmetz stopped into the KSAL Morning News on Tuesday with an invitation for everyone to attend a couple of local watch parties to celebrate the premier.
The TV's at El Atoron,118 N. Santa Fe and the Salina Rescue Mission, 1716 Summers Rd. will be tuned in for the 7pm Central start.
Adkins was in Salina for the filming while making a tour stop at the Stiefel Theatre in April. "The three of us (Kmetz, Paden, Feyerherm) were highlighted and they were at all our agencies and they did filming for that whole week," Kmetz said.
"When he was at the Stiefel he brought us up on stage and we had a great time."
The episode on GAC at 7pm CT Wednesday, August 22nd is available on these local channels:

Kmetz added they will serve free tacos and ice cream at the Rescue Mission for the event, on a first come - first served basis.
