Wichita Will Vote On Adding Fluoride To Water
Associated Press - Wed 07:38 AM 08/22/2012
Wichita residents will vote in November on whether to add fluoride to the city's water supply.
The Wichita City Council decided Monday to put the issue on the Nov. 6 election ballot. The decision came after fluoride supporters presented the council with petitions containing more than 11,000 signatures.
Proponents of fluoridation believe it helps prevent tooth decay.
Opponents contend fluoride can cause health problems, and forcing citizens to use it is a violation of individual freedoms.

I was under the impression it was to remove fluoride from the water, not add it. I hope voters are smart enough not to add fluoride to their water. There are plenty of tooth pastes that contain more than enough fluoride to help your teeth. There is a reason so many developed countries do not add fluoride to their water...

Let us all bow down to the dental expert by the name of Shadowcipher. I cannot believe people are really so f&cking stupid to think fluoridation is bad or dangerous.

Fluoride can cause fibromyalgia. It's very painful. You don't want to get it. On the plus side, bottled water sales will go through the roof.

Most of you are too young to remember the 1960's Dr. Strangelove movie, but we at the same point. Today we have conspiracy theories that try to pass themselves as science. Instead of "Communist" fluoridation of the 1950's and 60's.

earthclinic.com and these other side are NOT empirical data. Just because it says something on the internet does not make it true

SalinaSenior, insulting somebody because you disagree with this is one of the most ignorant things a person can do. It's not surprising you are the one not to understand this. I'm not concerned about the conspiracy theories surrounding fluoride. Many countries elite scientist came to the same conclusion as I did. I've got multiple countries and scientist backing my opinion. The ADA even warns that babies should not consume water with fluoride. SalinaSenior, speak less, and listen more. It will benefit you more than you will realize.

SalinaSenior, here is what a bunch of idiots at Harvard have to say about it. http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/07/24/idUS127920+24-Jul-2012+PRN20120724 Fluoride is a poison, which is a fact. That's why there are dire warnings for using more than the needed amount to brush your teeth on a toothpaste container.

And the internet is full of sites (not youtube, or conspiracy sites) that will give you the scientific dangers of fluoride.
