Dartmouth Green Bus To Stop At KWU
Mary Gordon - Sat 08:12 AM 08/25/2012
The Dartmouth veggie-fueled “Green Bus” will make a pit-stop at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina.
Eleven Dartmouth students travel the country for three months during the summer engaging U.S. citizens in a dialogue around sustainability and community action. The mission of the group is to host events that bring together different parties and individuals in the hope of connecting residents with the resources in the area that will allow them to incorporate sustainability into their lifestyles to create a healthier, more holistic community.
The bus will roll onto the KWU campus on Tuesday, September 28th.
The group will be speaking during a speech class at 9:25 in the KWU Fine Arts Building, room 222 and a larger group of combined classes from 10:50-12:05 in Peters Science Hall, room 201. Classes are open to the public, but limited seating is available.
Bus tours are available to the public throughout the morning in the northeast parking lot on campus.
