Lyons Man Killed In Head-On Crash

One Lyons man is killed and another is hurt in a head-on crash late Thursday night.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 55-year-old Luis Gonzales was driving a car west on U.S. 56 Highway. He crossed the centerline and hit an oncoming pickup truck head-on.
Gonzales was killed in the crash. The pickup driver, 65-year-old Jimmy Bound, was hurt. He was transported to a Wichita hospital.
Troopers say that both drivers were buckled up.
The crash happened at 9:10 Friday night, about two miles east of Lyons on U.S. 56 Highway.
