Adam Pracht is the author of "Frame Story"
A local author's scary story - makes the 'Sweet 16' in a nationwide writing contest.
Fiction writer Adam Pracht of Smolan, joined in on the KSAL Morning News Wednesday after making the cut on a contest from the Discovery Channel's podcast "The Stuff You Should Know."
Pracht says the original piece titled, "Frame Story" is about a family who moves into an old home.
"After the daughter nearly dies, the father finds himself knowing that the elemental force of taking itself ...is slowly coming for her in the form of a pale specter."
Pracht says, "Help then comes from an unexpected source."
