“We are thrilled to have Terry Bradshaw as our 2013 Annual Meeting speaker,” stated Dan Mendicina, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber. “Terry is not only a great athlete, but a leader and role model for young children and adults as well. He has a great message about leadership, perseverance, and achieving success in whatever you do. We expect that his message of ‘Why Not Your Best’ will be very appropriate for the Chamber’s Annual Banquet. We’re excited to have him coming to Salina and look forward to a fun and entertaining evening.”
The Chamber each year brings in a national figure to speak. Past speakers have included the likes of former president George Bush, his wife Barbara Bush, former British Prime Minister John Major, former New York City Mayor Rudy Guilianni, former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, and Bill Bradley. Speakers from the sports world have included Bob Costas and baseball hall of famer Cal Ripken Jr. Last year's speaker was Frank Abagnale.
