Salina Police dealt with two different suicidal people, in two different areas of town, at the same time Thursday morning.

At around 8:30 officers were sent to North 13th Street to the report of a suicidal man inside a home, possibly armed with a gun. Officers blocked off the street, and began the process of evacuating nearby homes. A short time later the man came out without incident.
At the same time the incident on North 13th Street was in progress, officers received a call about a woman who was possibly suicidal and headed to a home on Page Street. They were able to make contact with that woman without incident.
Both people were transported to the hospital. There were no injuries in either case.

The woman was "Possibly Suicidal"? Either you are or your not... I bet the SPD feels so good about themselves now.... They still suck

The cops did not give out any tickets for any violation so they could not feel good about themselves. They sure are covering up the shooting and changing stories hoping it will go away like so many things they do does.

Why would they write tickets to suicidal people? What are they covering up? @whosyourdaddy, like your style but part with you here. This story lets us know our officers are well trained and good at their jobs -- nobody hurt. The fact that the story is published here negates the conspiracy theory nonsense. Keep up the great work SPD.

The ticket response as I read it is to your statement about sod feeling good. We all know the only time they feel good is when they are writing tickets. That was not hard to figure out.

LOL, so you admit I am right. OK, that is man of you and I can respect that. As for what I know, I know for CERTAIN that not all police officer like writing tickets to suicidal people in need of their help. Most police officers like helping people in distress. You still have not answered my question. What is your beef with the Chief? What is your beef with the Sheriff?
