The Salina Central High cast of "Quilters" stopped into the KSAL Morning News Friday with songs from the show.
The story centers on a pioneer mother (Sarah Bonham) and her six daughters as they face challenges of frontier life.
Sophomore, Samantha Highsmith, who plays the role of Sarah, says it's a look at what mothers had to overcome on the Kansas prairie. "We've got fires and childbirth - even a tornado," she said.
"Quilters" opens Thursday, October 25th at the Central High School Auditorium, with two more performances on Saturday and Sunday.
