Salina Police arrest three people for shoplifting after a traffic stop.

A cart full of unpaid items set off the security alarm at Wal-Mart, 2900 S. 9th, on Saturday afternoon.

A woman was observed by staff as she placed a GPS unit in her purse, and then attempted to walk out the front doors accompanied by two men rolling a shopping cart with video games, security cameras, candy and assorted food items that had not been paid for.

The three left the cart behind and drove away in a vehicle.

Police were able to make a traffic stop at I-135 and State Street and arrested, 25-year-old Christopher Pryor of Salina, 34-year-old Guy Hollinger and 33-year-old Megan Mastel, both of Paola, KS.

All the items, valued at $560 were recovered.

Does anyone else find it rather funny, they can't seem to catch someone walking out with big screen TV"s, but managed to catch these idiots!!! I'm glad, I hope this is going to be a continuing thing, these damn shoplifters hurt us all!! Everything that they get away with causes the prices to escalate for the rest of us paying customers!!!
