Tool Taken from Truck

A Salina man contacts police after a construction saw is stolen.
Police are investigating a theft case after a Stihl TS-700 cut-off saw was removed from a pick-up truck.
The owner told officers he had left the tool in the bed of the truck while it was parked in the 2000 block of Sherwood between Friday night at 9:30pm and Monday evening at 5pm.
Total loss is listed at $900.

You would think someone who had a saw worth $900 would take better care of it. You leave something like this out in the open it will be gone the way of all the TV's and even a vacuum.
