Coyote Radio Goes Wilde
Jeff Garretson - Wed 01:41 PM 10/31/2012
Listeners to KKWU, the on-line radio station at Kansas Wesleyan University are in for a scary, treat tonight on Halloween.
According to Paul Green, Media Production Manager at KWU, students will step behind the mic for a second straight year for a theater of the mind experience.
"Last year it was War of the Worlds and we killed everyone in Salina, Assaria and every neighboring community. This year it's not quite so bloody!"
KKWU will present "The Canterville Ghost" online beginning at 7pm.
"This is Oscar Wilde's first story that he got published ...or sold," Green said.
The macabre tale has a taste of humor and chills as a ghost known as Sir Simon, haunts an American family in an old English country side house.
Green tells KSAL News that the cast made up of ten KW students will also spend time talking about the experience of creating radio theater for KKWU.
