Man Escapes After Leading Police On Chase
KSAL Staff - Fri 11:11 AM 11/09/2012
A man escapes after leading Salina Police on a chase Friday morning.
At around 10:15 an officer attempted a traffic stop on a car that she believed was being driven by a man who had a suspended license. Rather than stop, that driver lead officers on a pursuit through Central Salina neighborhoods.
The driver stopped in a front yard in the 700 Block of Osage. He got out and ran, avoiding capture.
Multiple officers from the Salina Police Department, Saline County Sheriff's Office, and Kansas Highway Patrol responded to the area in an effort to locate the suspect.

Well does not suprise anyone that this guy got away. Let me replay the part when the guy ran on foot. The spd arrived got out as they saw him running then said um ok what do we do now? By the time they figured out what to do the guy got away.

I am not surprised. What gets me is this female cop believed the guy was driving on a suspended license what is she dating him? My next question is did they have all the fat ticket writing cops out there that could not catch a little old lady in a wheel chair? Did not hear about chief hill or sheriff k out there that would have been worth the price of admission to watch them two old geezers chase someone down.

"He got, and ran" eh! ? ! Proofreading is still something you must do on your own, a computer can only do so much. A journalist proofreading, odd I know.

Wow the cops must have pictures of all traffic violators on the computer screens. Evidently they know who it is so why isn't he in jail?

I guess if she recognized just someone driving along as being a violator. Then she could not catch him so why have a job if you cannot perform it?
