Man Hurt In Crash Involving Semi

One person is hurt Tuesday in a single vehicle crash involving a semi in Ellsworth County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a semi was headed east in the passing lane on Interstate 70 when the driver's attention was distracted. The vehicle left the road into the median. It struck a drainage culvert and then entered back onto the road.

The driver was not hurt. A passenger, 46-year-old David Shea from Fort Worth, Texas, was. He was transported to the hospital in Ellsworth.
