Salina Man Killed In Crash

The crash happened just after 3:00 Tuesday afternoon, about two miles east of Kinsley on U.S. 56 Highway in Edwards County.
A Salina man is killed in a Western Kansas crash Tuesday afternoon.
According t the Kansas Highway Patrol, 57-year-old Charles Kerth of Salina was driving a semi east on U.S 56 Highway. He went off the road and struck a pickup truck that was stopped at a stop sight at a connecting road.
Kerth, who was not buckled up, was killed in the crash.
The driver of the pickup, 50-year-old Danial Haynes of Kinsley, was hurt. He was transported to St Francis Regional Medical Center. Troopers say that it is unknown if he was buckled up.
