I highly doubt those wheels were worth that much and an old interstate battery is almost worthless sounds like someone trying to scam some insurance money

Who on Iron Street in Salina Kansas has $2800 to spend on rims & tires! It sounds like "Merry Christmas to me" ... From: Insurance Co. X ... good grief!

I don't believe those tires are worth $2800, but some of the houses in the 600 block of Iron are large historic houses that aren't cheap. I'm sure quite a few people in that neighborhood could afford those rims.

The point here is another theft has occurred and no one has been caught for the other 1000 or so robberies in the past year that have not been solved.
