Meet the man behind the lens, tonight at the Salina Public Library.
Step inside the Library's south entry - and you'll enter the world of Tom Dorsey, a photojournalist for the Salina Journal.
Some of Dorsey's work is now on display in the lobby known as "Gallery 708" and as part of First Thursday Art Rush, Dorsey will be on hand to talk about his craft and his book, "Stuff I've Shot."
Dorsey tells KSAL News a key for him is not to be noticed in the environment where he's working, "I try to be as inconspicuous as possible and get as far away as possible - so I'm not right in their face," he said.
"When you shoot a lot they forget you're there and you get the natural stuff."
Meet Salina Journal Photographer, Tom Dorsey at the Salina Public Library, 301 W. Elm, tonight from 5-7 p.m.
Dorsey's work will remain on display until January 17th.
