Southeast Splits in Beloit

The Southeast of Saline girls picked up a 53-30 win at Beloit on Tuesday night.

The Trojans forced 22 Beloit turnovers and built a 26-19 halftime lead.

Erica Montgomery led the Trojans with 22 points, while Heather Cleveland added 14 points and 12 rebounds.

The Trojans are 4-1 overall and 1-0 in the NCAA.

The Southeast of Saline boys dropped their NCAA opener at Beloit, 58-46, on Tuesday night.

The Trojans fought tough through the first three quarters, and trailed the Trojans 46-44 going to the fourth quarter, but were limited to just two points in the final quarter.

Sam Koch had 17 points to pace Southeast while Easton Montgomery had 16. The Trojans are 3-2 overall and 0-1 in the NCAA.
