Congressman Tim Huelskamp has a new committee assignment in the U.S. House after the chamber's Republican leadership took him off two others in December.

The Kansas Republican was among four House members who were removed from prominent committees for not voting with the GOP leadership on key issues. Huelskamp was taken off the budget and agriculture committees.

He'll continue to serve on the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs, and has a new assignment on the Small Business Committee. Huelskamp said the new assignment will give rural Kansas a voice on a variety of issues.

Not too long before the election Mr. Huelskamp came to my place of employment and gave us a very informative talk about his thoughts and positions on current issues. At this time I was already starting to dislike Mr. Boehner and since Mr. Boehner removed Mr. Huelskamp from some committees for voting what he thought was right (and mostlikely is) it would be nice to see Boehner thrown under the bus. HA! Mr. Huelskamp is the right man that we direly need more of in our elected officials to lay the correct path for the future of this great nation. Keep up the Good Work Mr. Huelskamp! Thanks for all that you do for us.

Tim will do an awesome job on any committee he is on. It is a sad day in America when our Ag and Finance committee lose someone as valuable as him because he stands up for truth and for the America we love.
