Central, South Swimmers Each Finish Second

Salina South and Salina Central each finish second in their boys swimming meets on Thursday.

Salina South scored 225 points as a team and was second to Derby with 257 points.

Trey Lorenson won the diving competion for the lone first place finish for Salina South. Duy Ngyuen was second in diving.

A pair of relays had runner up finishes. Brodie Bowell, Tucker Robidou, Clay Peppiatt and Ben Weishaar were second in the 200 Freestyle relay and 400 Freestyle relay.

Salina Central scored 217 points as a team and was second to Derby's 258 points.

Ian Korinek won the diving competition while Shane Davis was second.

Matt Martin posted another win in the 100 butterfly, and added a second in the 100 backstroke.

The 400 freestyle relay of Decker Gates, Byren Baker, Erick Nilson and Martin posted a win.
