Ell-Saline Girls Fall to Lyons

The Ell-Saline girls fell in the final game of their mid-season tournament last night, losing at home to Lyons 37-29.

The Lions had a hot start, scoring the first 14 points, before scoring slowed for the visitors. However, Lyons was able to hold on.

Lyons pushed the lead to 12 at 22-10 at halftime, before Ell-Saline cut it to seven at 25-18 after three.

Lyons was able to withstand Ell-Saline’s fourth quarter charge.

The Cardinals are now 9-3 on the season.

We’ll have Ell-Saline in our area game of the week on Friday, when they travel to Bennington.
