Several Area Athletes to Sign Letters of Intent

Today is national signing day for college football.

Locally, Salina Central defensive back Will Oaks will sign with Butler Community College, and lineman Cordell Wilcome will go to Coffeyville Community College. Central running back Matt Cookson also signs with Highland Community College.

Wilcome will be joined in Coffeyville by Salina South running back Cody Busby and linebacker Mike Shirk. Defensive Lineman Hunter Box will sign with Bethel while Billy Frey will sign with Kansas Wesleyan.

Southeast of Saline lineman Sam Koch will sign with Hutchinson Community College.

Ell-Saline running back and linebacker Toby Omli and wide receiver and defensive back Kaleb Whitehair will both sign with Butler Community College.
