A Salina man awaiting sentencing for burglary charges, is arrested again for breaking into a church.

According to Lt. Scott Siemsen, Salina Police arrested 34-year old Jonathan Shinn, 725 S. 10th, after a search warrant at his house revealed some of the stolen property taken from Trinity Lutheran Church.

Police say Shinn broke into the church at 9th and Crawford sometime between February 5th and 6th - and again between the 6th and 7th.

Shinn allegedly stole some cash and high-tech equipment, including a DVD player, HP laptop computer, two video projectors and some microphones.

Investigators were able to link him to a stolen credit card from the church he used at the Dillon's grocery store on W. Crawford, to purchase pre-paid gift cards.

Police say the gift cards were valued at more than $2,100.

Shinn was arrested in January after a neighbor found him in his house in the 700 block of S. 10th.
