A Drug Task Force investigation leads to the arrest of a Salina woman.

Agents from the I-135/I-70 Drug Task Force used a search warrant on Thursday to seize bags of methamphetamine and maijuana from an employee at the Koyotte Lounge, 501 N. 5th.

Task Force Commander Lt. Jim Norton tells KSAL News that police used confidential informants to make 3 controlled drug buys between January 15th and February 7th, from 47-year-old Delaine Romeo.

Officers arrested Romeo for possession of meth and marijuana and charged her with 3 counts of distribution as well. Agents found over 5.5 grams of meth plus 32 grams of pot in her possession.

Police say they also found $9,448 in suspected drug proceeds.

Lt. Norton commented that the business was not under investigation.
