There's still time to send your sweetheart a singing valentine from the Kansas Wesleyan Chorale, or Salina South High School vocal music students.
KWU Chorale Director Ken Hakoda stopped into the KSAL Morning News Wednesday with fourteen college singers and a package idea to make a Valentine's Day extra special.
The KWU Chorale is offering Singing Valentines on February 14th. Hakoda tells KSAL News the group will serenade your special someone at home, work - or anywhere you choose.
Orders can be made through the KWU website at www.kwu.edu, or by calling Alison Harbaugh at KWU, 785 827 5541 ext 5214.
Hakoda says your sweetheart will get a song and a rose, or balloon for $20.
All money raised through the Singing Valentine project will go toward the Wesleyan Chorale's other activities, which include performances throughout the state.
Salina South High School vocal music students will also be providing singing valentines.
Eddie Creer’s vocal music students will be delivering singing valentines throughout the day Thursday.
Orders are taken at Dillon’s on Planet Ave.
$20 includes chocolates, mylar balloon and 3 love songs sung by the students.
