Sacred Heart Girls Fall to Haven at Substate

Lady Knights struggle to score in season-ending loss.

A couple of days after it was originally scheduled, the Sacred Heart girls met Haven at Hillsboro in the opening round of substate. The Lady Knights struggled from the field the entire game in a 44-11 loss.

Haven opened the game with a 7-0 run and led throughout. Sacred Heart trailed 7-1 after the opening quarter and 16-6 at halftime.

The Lady Wildcats scored the first 11 second half points to blow the game open. The lead ballooned to 33-8 after three quarters and Haven went on for a 33-point win.

The Lady Knights finish the season with a record of 6-15.

Sacred Heart was led in scoring by Cara Donley with seven points. Haley Rapp also added four.
