Military School Seeks to Toss Ex-Cadet's Claims
Associated Press - Thu 02:58 PM 02/28/2013
An embattled Kansas military school is asking a federal judge to rule at least partially in its favor after a former cadet admitted lying about being taped, bound and gagged against his will.
St. John's Military School argues in a court filing Thursday the former student has said in a sworn deposition the alleged incident began as a joke and that he asked his classmates to send a picture of it to his mother so she would take him out of the school.
Michael Kelly is among 11 former cadets who have sued the Salina boarding school alleging abuse.
St. John's says in a statement that Kelly's false allegation has caused immense harm to its reputation.
An attorney for the former cadets did not immediately return phone and email messages Thursday.

KSAL please do some of your own reporting also as you are a local media source (who I have talked to personally taking pictures at the school) and should have better access to the school than anyone instead of using a reported that lives in the same city as the lawyer that represents the plantiffs. Roxana thank you for reporting the other side of the story for once. FYI this was news months ago. Other examples I bet will occur in the coming months also. Or who knows they might be saved for the court room, when/if the lawsuit happens. A reverse pattern of lies can come out also. I was also witness (he told me while inline to get his hair trimmed) to a kid that purposely punched a wall to break his wrist (he failed) so as to be sent home, I have many other examples that I have witnessed or confirmed in the past 1.5 years also.

Well, well well as many of us throught this punk lied all along. He and his family should have to pay for the damage done to the schools reputation and their costs to fight this false accusation.
