Salina Regional Health Center and COMCARE PA announced Monday an affiliation that brings the 22-physician practice and its 260 employees under the Salina Regional umbrella.
“This is a great win-win situation that will improve patient care and access in Saline County and North Central Kansas.,” said Mike Terry, chief executive officer of Salina Regional.
Alan Wedel, M.D., COMCARE’s CEO says it will be a great framework for patients, "This alliance between two successful health care organizations will provide an opportunity to sustain and grow our mission together,” he said.
COMCARE’s facilities include medical clinics in Salina at 617 E. Elm Street, 520 S. Santa Fe,
and 1101 E. Republic, and a medical clinic in Minneapolis.
Other COMCARE facilities include: StatCare, 1001 S. Ohio; Occupational Health Partners,
1101 E. Republic, and Salina Physical Therapy at 521-A S. Santa Fe and 1101 E. Republic, in Salina.
