A Saline County man is arrested for allegedly falsely reporting a crime.

According to the sheriff's office, 43-year-old Troy Wilson of 7240 W. Colt Road was arrested Friday afternoon and booked for making a false police report.

Wilson had reported a vehicle he had rented with Enterprise was not returned by a friend. Wilson told deputies he ran into an old school friend while he was out on Wednesday night, and gave the man ride. The man, known only as "Jus", then asked Wilson if he could borrow the car to go to a nearby convenience store, and never returned.

The car was recovered in Junction City and returned to the rental company.

Ok so why was he arrested? For being stupid? If so they better redo the bi-center into a jail because they will fill it quite fast.

This whole story is fishy. From the sheriff's comments to what occurred.
