Something was missing at Sunday's Hispanic Heritage Celebration in Salina...Mexican food.

Just before the event started, a Salina-Saline County health inspector shut down food service by two area restaurants, Los Potrillos and Chikuitos. Both set up without nonabsorbent tables. The inspector said the wood tables they had set up did not meet standards.

Several other portable food vendors, serving festival-like foods such as funnel cakes, passed inspection and were serving food.
