The Salina Area Chamber of Commerce and League of Women Voters sponsored a Candidates Forum event Wednesday evening. All candidates running in local county and state races attended the three and a half hour event.

Candidates for the State Board of Education, Saline County Commission, Saline County Sheriff, and local State Legislative all participated.

Each candidate made opening remarks, then fielded questions from a media panel and from the audience, before then making closing remarks.

All of the candidates have also been appearing on KSAL's Friendly Fire Program, answering many of the same questions. Archives of those programs can all be heard on-line, by clicking on Voter's Guide 2008 on this web page.
